A supportive Secondary School in Coventry is seeking an enthusiastic and committed male Physical Education Teacher to start ASAP on a full-time, long-term basis. Due to safeguarding requirements and the need to provide appropriate supervision and support for boys’ PE lessons and changing facilities, the school requires a male PE Teacher for this post.

This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality PE lessons across a range of activities, promoting physical fitness, skill development, sportsmanship and resilience. You will support students in improving their physical competence, confidence and understanding of health and wellbeing, both within lessons and through wider sporting opportunities.

Requirements

✅Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

✅Willingness to complete DBS, vetting and reference checks

✅Proven experience teaching PE at Secondary level

✅Promote participation, teamwork and positive attitudes towards physical activity

✅Ensure safe practice during practical activities and risk assessments

✅Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning

✅Strong and positive behaviour management skills

✅Read the DfE ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ (2025 document)
