Two roles available

Twenty 4 Seven Education are pleased to offer this immensely satisfying learning support role in an improving West Midlands primary school. The successful candidate will be working alongside one nursery age child with ASD. The role would be part time, mornings or afternoons during term time.

The Role:

The school is looking for a patient, caring and dedicated individual to work on a one-to-one basis, supporting a nursery child who has suspected ASD (awaiting diagnosis).

The main responsibilities will include:

Working 1:1 with one specific pupil
Supporting nursery staff
Helping SEND pupil to make progress in and out of the classroom
Liaising with school’s SENCO
Working in line with the school’s ethos and SEND policies

The candidate:

Must have a desire to make a positive contribution to classroom
Must have a desire to make a difference to the progress- academic, social and/or personal- of pupil(s) with SEN
Must have experience of working with nursery aged children
Must have experience or proven knowledge (for example, a qualification) of supporting children with SEND
Must have at least a level 2 qualification
