Twenty 4 Seven Education are pleased to be offering a new learning support role in an Oftsed rated ‘good’ primary school. This role will require you to work on a 1-1 basis with a year 1 pupil. The school are seeking a strong individual who will be able to work with the child inside and outside of the classroom.

The school is a happy, friendly and welcoming place. This school have recently been given a ‘Good Ofsted rating. They pride themselves on making sure every pupil gets the out of their education.
The Role
The school is looking for a hardworking, confident and caring individual to work one-to-one with a student in year 1, supporting in and out of the classroom and as directed by the classroom teacher and SENCO.
The main responsibilities will include
· Working 1:1 with one specific pupil
· Supporting the class teacher
· Helping SEND pupil to make progress in and out of the classroom
· Liaising with school’s SENCO
· Working in line with the school’s ethos and SEND policies
The candidate:
A teaching assistant qualification is desirable, preferably with specific SEND knowledge
Must have a desire to make a positive contribution in class
Must have a desire to make a difference to the progress- academic, social and/or personal- of pupils with SEN
Need a successful track record of working with pupils
Classroom-based experience is useful
