Cover Supervisor

Location: Ashford

The school are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team at Ashford. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising classes of students in the absence of their regular teacher, ensuring that they continue to receive a high-quality education that meets their individual needs.

Responsibilities:

– Supervise classes of students in the absence of their regular teacher
– Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure that students remain on task and engaged in their learning
– Manage student behaviour in accordance with school policies and procedures
– Provide feedback to regular teachers on student progress and behaviour
– Participate in school events and activities, including parent-teacher conferences and extracurricular programs

Requirements:

– A degree or equivalent qualification
– Experience working with children or young people
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Strong organisational and time-management skills
– A commitment to ongoing professional development
