Twenty4Seven Education is seeking a full-time passionate, capable and flexible Cover Supervisor for an innovative and inclusive ’Good’ Ofsted-rated Secondary School in Broadstairs, Kent. You will start immediately on a full-time basis until December.

Your new role:
·Have regard for the need to safeguard pupils’ well-being following statutory provisions
·You will effectively supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher ensuring a calm, positive and inclusive learning environment
·You will deliver pre-planned lessons to pupils ensuring students are engaged, participating and being productive to ensure pupil progress
·Give pupils regular feedback and encourage pupils to respond to the feedback
·You will implement school policies on behaviour, addressing any disruptions promptly and professionally
·Maintain clear communication with teaching staff regarding lesson progress and any noteworthy incidents
·Deploy any support staff effectively
Must have:
·Proven experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role within an educational setting (minimum of 3 months of experience)
·Excellent subject knowledge
·Child DBS check on the Update Service or willing to pay and apply for a new one (Twenty4Seven Education can assist you with this process)
·Ability to adapt quickly to different subjects and classroom dynamics
·Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and colleagues
