Salary: £75 a day

Hours: 8am-3:30pm

A Primary School in Canterbury, Kent are looking to recruit a caring and resilient Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated staff to support pupils in their thriving Nursery. This is a full time role starting ASAP until the end of the academic year. You must have a Level 3 CACHE to be successful in this role.

The Role:
You will need to form positive relationships with children encouraging them to flourish and learn. You will have the opportunity to work as a general Teaching Assistant and provide group or one-to-one support with identified pupils.

During the day children have the opportunity to independently access a variety of exciting and engaging activities, allowing staff including yourself to make accurate observations of the children’s learning and plan suitable provision to meet the next steps in their learning.

The ideal candidate:
** Be enthusiastic, nurturing and reliable
** Have high expectations for the behaviour and academic progress of young children
** Prior experience of working in an Early Years setting
** Good knowledge of the Early Years Curriculum and assessment
** Level 3 CACHE
** Right to work in the UK
** Enhanced DBS registered to the update service or willingness to obtain a new certificate
** Safeguarding training within the last 12 months (if you haven’t we provide a free course once you’ve undergone our relevant compliance checks)
