Job Description

Have you got experience of supporting children with needs? Are you looking to support one-to-one outside of mainstream schools? This SEN tutor role will be ideal if you are a newly qualified teacher, teaching assistant, SEN one-to-one or have any experience working with children and are looking for some flexible work. This SEN tutor role involves: – Working with children with Special Education Needs and providing face to face support to children with ASD, SEMH or PMLD. Planning resources around the child’s needs, this could be on developing their knowledge in Maths, English and Science.

– Skills and experience on keeping the child engaged with task and ensuring they can access the learning. – Managing behaviour and implementing a range of behaviour strategies. If you are looking to enhance your skills and experience this will be great to add to your CV.

 

SEN experience

Able to plan and deliver engaging, nurturing sessions.

Applying skills to raise pupils’ confidence and learning.

Experience with working with children with challenging behaviour.

Requirements:
Enhanced DBS registered to the update service or willingness to obtain a new certificate (Full Guidance will be given)
Professional reference checks including at least one childcare related reference
Legal right to work in the UK
