A reputable school based in East London, is seeking to recruit a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2023. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate who is looking to start a career in education.
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to the teaching staff in delivering high-quality education to pupils. You will be involved in planning and delivering lessons, supporting individual pupils, and helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment. This role will provide you with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the classroom, develop your teaching skills and knowledge, and work towards becoming a qualified teacher.
The successful candidate will have a degree in a relevant subject area and a passion for education. You will be a highly motivated individual who is able to work collaboratively with colleagues and has excellent communication and organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting teaching staff in planning and delivering lessons
Providing one-to-one support to pupils as required
Helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment
Assisting with classroom management
Undertaking administrative tasks as required
Key Requirements:
A degree in a relevant subject area
A passion for education and a desire to develop a career in teaching
