** Pay rate: £100-£130
Twenty4Seven Education is seeking a creative, innovative, dependable IT Tutor to work within a remarkable ‘Good’ Ofsted-rated SEN College. This resourceful and thriving College need you to join their team of dedicated teaching staff ASAP for a full time ongoing role.
Pupils attend this fun, vibrant and supportive College with or without an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP). They cater for young people aged 16-25 with a variety of primary needs including Social Emotional Mental Health needs (SEMH), Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Speech Language Communication Needs (SLCN). Learners are at the heart of every decision they make to ensure that they are happy, confident and that the opportunities that are provided for them are relevant to their needs both now and in the future.

The Role:
As the IT Tutor, you will deliver IT qualifications from Level 1 to Level 2 and to assist the training team to provide support for learners in preparation for entering the workplace. You will have an active role in assisting learners on training courses to help them progress into education, employment, training or volunteering. You will also be responsible for teaching employability, functional skills and British values, often to challenging and disengaged young people with SEND.
Qualifications & Experience:
* One or more relevant teaching qualifications (e.g. PTLLS or equivalent upwards, assessor award, Cert Ed, PGCE, Literacy and numeracy subject specialism at level 3 upwards)
* Experience teaching IT within an educational setting or similar (minimum of 3 months of experience)
* Experience of teaching children with SEND
* Child and Adult DBS check on the Update Service or willing to pay and apply for a new one (Twenty4Seven Education can assist you with this process)
* You can demonstrate a patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to working with children
* You have excellent communication and teamwork skills
* You are committed to creating a safe, supportive and progressive learning environment
