Year 2 Teacher – Margate – ASAP

Pay rate: £100 – £150 per day

A lovely Primary School in Margate are seeking a full time enthusiastic and reliable Teacher, to teach Year 2 starting immediately until the end of the academic year.

This school is searching for a teacher that can effectively join their team and provide their Year 2 class with a high level of teaching and progression. This class is a mixed ability class which requires the teacher to be able to differentiate the work to meet the needs of every pupil.

The ideal teacher will require strong behaviour management skills and be able to provide a positive working environment that will allow their students to be able to focus on the work at hand. The school encourage creative and interactive lessons that consistently engage the class and allows the students to work with each other.

The school are wanting a teacher that is experienced with Year 2 SAT curriculum and also effective in assessment and ensure the pupils are achieving their absolute best. Year 2 SAT experience required.

Our ideal Year 2 Teacher will:
** Plan and deliver engaging, creative and relevant lessons effectively
** Give regular feedback to support pupils with their learning
** Monitor and assess pupils to ensure they meet expectations if not exceed them
** Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management
** Have good organisation skills

To be considered for this role you would need to have:
** Have a UK Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS)
** Experience of teaching KS1pupils in the UK within the last 5 years, including those identified with having special needs
** Have a strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
** Experience teaching Year 2 including Year 2 SATS
** Right to work in the UK
** Enhanced DBS on the Update Service. Candidates without an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service will have to apply for a new one
