Year 6 Teacher – Tonbridge – January

** Location: Tonbridge, Kent
** Hours: Full-time
** Contract: Temp to Perm

** Pay rate: £130-£220

Twenty4Seven Education is seeking a qualified, dedicated and inspirational Key Stage 2 Teacher to work within a vibrant and thriving ‘Good’ Ofsted-rated mainstream Primary School in Tonbridge.  This amazing full-time opportunity is to start in January on a temp-to-perm contract.

Key Responsibilities:

· Have regard for the need to safeguard pupils’ well-being in accordance with statutory provisions
· Plan and teach well-structured, dynamic and differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum, International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme and the school’s curriculum policy
· Plan and deliver effective lessons/activities for children to be prepared and confident to undertake their Key Stage 2 tests in May 2025
· Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils including those with additional needs
· Promote good progress and outcomes for pupils by making accurate and productive use of assessment
· Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a safe learning environment following the school’s behaviour policy
· Make a positive contribution to the wider life and ethos of the School
· Deploy any support staff effectively
· Take responsibility for improving teaching through appropriate professional development, responding to advice and feedback from colleagues
· Forge positive professional relationships within the School
· Communicate effectively with parents and external professionals about pupils’ achievements and well-being

Must have:

· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
· Experience working within an educational setting or similar (minimum of 12 months of experience)
· Child DBS check on the Update Service or willing to pay and apply for a new one (Twenty4Seven Education can assist you with this process)
· Outstanding subject knowledge outlined in the National Curriculum (2014)
· Read the DfE ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ (2024) document
· Excellent classroom management
· Good communication skills
