Job Description

Twenty4seven Education is seeking an experienced Behaviour Mentor to work in a school in Birmingham to work full time. The school requires a mentor with experience working with disengaged students to deliver pre-planned workshops.

About the role:

Working with groups of secondary aged students who may be at risk of exclusion.
Deliver workshops on resilience to help reengage students with their education.
You will be in sole control for a small class of students.
Ideal for people seeking flexible work, as the cover for these sessions is required on an ad-hoc basis.
About the school:

Central Birmingham based.
The schools are easily accessible from Birmingham city centre and surrounding areas.

About you:

To be considered for the Behaviour Mentor position, you will:

Have previous experience working with children with a range of abilities and maybe some special education needs.
Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students.
Suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential.
Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
