* Pay rate: £75-85 per day

Multiple Special Needs Schools across Birmingham are seeking enthusiastic, reliable and adaptable Cover Supervisors for daily supply and short/long term roles.

The role of a Cover Supervisor is to deliver pre-planned work to classes, ensuring they stay on task, complete the work and manage the classroom effectively whilst the class teacher is absent.

At Twenty4Seven Education we offer free Cover Supervisor training sessions through our Education Support programme. Training sessions are done via video calls and cover all aspects of the role and what to expect whilst working in a school environment.

Main duties:
– Supervise classes across all key stages & subjects delivering pre-set work in the class teachers absence
– Supervise & assist students in 1-1 and/or small groups when not being used to lead a classroom
– Managing behaviour of all students following the school behaviour policy

Requirements:
* Professional reference checks to cover the last 2 years
* Legal right to work in the UK
* Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or willingness to pay and apply for a new certificate
* Excellent knowledge of safeguarding children and young adults – you will need an up to date Safeguarding Training Certificate (we provide FREE Safeguarding Training)
