Cover Supervisor – Coventry, Rugby and surrounding areas – ASAP

Twenty 4 Seven Education are recruiting Cover Supervisors to work within Secondary Schools in Coventry, Rugby and surrounding areas to start immediately on a day-to-day supply basis.

Your role will be to supervise classes across Key Stage 3 and 4, during the short-term absence of the assigned teacher, taking the register, delivering set work, and ensuring pupil understanding of the tasks which have been set. You will also need to manage student’s behaviour in line with the school’s behaviour policy, ensuring that students are on task and manage any immediate problems according to school procedures.

We welcome applicants with a relevant qualification, people who have experience of working with children and/or recently graduated from University looking to gain work experience.

As the preferred supply agency for the Coventry and Rugby areas we pride ourselves on offering professional development courses. We provide a non-mandatory Cover Supervisor training day, to anyone wishing to participate.

– Support pupils in their learning including those with additional educational needs

– Have good organisation and communication skills
