* Pay rate: £75-85 per day

An inclusive and nurturing Special Needs School in Bromsgrove is seeking a full time enthusiastic, flexible and resilient Cover Supervisor to teach pre-planned lessons to pupils across the key stages. This exciting new ongoing role is to start ASAP.

At Twenty4Seven Education we offer free Cover Supervisor training sessions through our Education Support programme. Training sessions are done via video calls and cover all aspects of the role and what to expect whilst working in a school environment.

The School:
This ‘Good’ Ofsted rated SEN School aims to provide a high quality education for children and young people aged from Reception to Post 16, with a range of learning difficulties and/or autism. They provide a safe, positive, stimulating and challenging learning environment where all pupils’ needs are identified and met and where progress, achievements and success are recognised and celebrated. In addition, they develop pupil’s personal responsibility and encourage decision making and choice. To achieve this they listen to and respect pupils’ voice and contributions, communicating with them through whatever means appropriate.

Main duties:
– Supervise classes across all key stages & subjects delivering pre-set work in the class teachers absence
– Supervise & assist students in 1-1 and/or small groups when not being used to lead a classroom
– Managing behaviour of all students following the school behaviour policy

Requirements:
* Professional reference checks to cover the last 2 years
* Legal right to work in the UK
* Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or willingness to pay and apply for a new certificate
* Excellent knowledge of safeguarding children and young adults – you will need an up to date Safeguarding Training Certificate (we provide FREE Safeguarding Training)
