English Teacher – Coventry

Twenty 4 Seven Education have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, dedicated and qualified English Teacher to work within a Secondary School in Coventry. This full time role is to start ASAP and it will be a temp to perm contract.

Your new role:
You will need to plan and deliver engaging English lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils, encourage a love of lifelong learning by eliciting in students a sense of awe and wonder. Develop student reasoning and promote depth of understanding. Develop the whole student, as well as promoting attributes that are crucial to enjoying lifelong happiness, success, and citizenship. You will need to use both formative and summative assessment to ensure that each child makes maximum progress.

The ideal candidate:
*Hold a UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS/QLTS) with English as a discipline
*Have good subject knowledge and experience of teaching across KS3 and KS4 in a UK school setting
*Be able to plan, deliver and mark engaging lessons
*Excellent communication skills
*Strong classroom and behaviour management
