A lovely SEN School in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire are seeking a confident and adaptable full time Cover Supervisor to join them ASAP for an ongoing role.  You do not need a qualification for this role but the ideal Cover Supervisor will have previous experience as a Cover Supervisor/Unqualified Teacher/HLTA, experience of working with children with SEN, have excellent interpersonal skills and be committed to delivering quality teaching and learning.

The School:
This ‘Good’ Ofsted rated Special School caters for pupils with a range of learning needs, including Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Autism, Complex Needs, Behavioural Needs and Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH). Their aim is to provide a high quality education for pupils aged from 4 years to post 16. Their purpose is to provide a safe, positive, stimulating and challenging learning environment where all their pupils’ needs are identified and met and where progress, achievements and success are recognised and celebrated.

The role:
– Delivering a variable timetable of already planned lessons and prepared teaching tasks
– Support pupils in their learning, to stay on task and complete the work set
– Promote good behaviour by demonstrating excellent behaviour management skills
– Be positive, pro-active, reliable and resilient
– Have good organisation and communication skills
– Hold a current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service or to be prepared to apply for a new DBS with ourselves (cost applied)
