ICT Teacher – Kidderminster – ASAP
A ‘Good’ Ofsted rated School in Kidderminster are seeking to appoint a full time ICT specialist (qualified or unqualified) to teach students across Year 3 – Year 10, delivering tailored lessons to students and leading the subject as the sole person in the department giving you complete autonomy. This role is to start ASAP until July, in the first instance.
This role is ideal for individuals who specialise in ICT, whether you are a qualified teacher or not, subject knowledge is key. Ideally you will have previously mentored, tutored or taught ICT in some capacity. Whether you are looking for a new role as an ICT teacher or want to give teaching a try, we would like to hear from you.
About the school:
This is a through school, where students can undertake their 14 year journey under one roof, though whether joining them in Reception or any other year group, students can be assured of a warm welcome into the school. Offering a broad curriculum, at this school they value the world of academia but equally value the creative arts and PE. The year groups are small (classes of 25) putting a strong emphasis on pastoral care and on every pupil being known and individually looked after and cared for.
The ideal candidate:
* Hold a UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS/QLTS) – but not essential to the role
* Have good subject knowledge of ICT
* Be able to plan and deliver engaging lessons
* Monitor and assess pupils effectively to ensure pupil progress
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong classroom and behaviour management
