KS1 and KS2 SEN Teacher Lea Hall September

Twenty4Seven Education are actively seeking a qualified Teacher for our client who is a SEN school in the Lea Hall area. The post requires a flexible SEN Teachers who are passionate, enthusiastic and dedicated in supporting children with additional or complex needs. Applicants must be willing to work key stages 1 and 2 and have relevant and/or previous experience working with SEN children with various needs special or complex needs. This role can be part time or full time with the chance of permanent roles for the right candidate.

As a SEN Teacher you must have:

SEN experience
Calm, caring, considerate, compassionate and most of all patient.
Understanding of key issues like challenging behaviour, safeguarding
Willing to have a DBS check or have DBS on the update service
Be empathetic and passionate about working with SEND children or young adults
have obtained a Qalified Teachers Status (QTS)
As a SEN Teacher you’ll be expected to:

Teach KS1, KS2 of the school curriculum
Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment
Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges
Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
Maintain discipline and manage challenging behaviour.
Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development
Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools.
