Twenty4Seven Education is actively seeking a qualified Teacher for our client, an SEN school in the Selly Oak area. The post requires a flexible SEN Teacher who is passionate, enthusiastic and dedicated to supporting children with additional or complex needs. Applicants must be willing to work on key stages 1 and 2 and have relevant and previous experience working with SEN children with various needs special or complex needs. This role can be part-time or full time with the chance of a permanent job role for the right candidate.

As an SEN Teacher, you must have:
SEN experience
Calm, caring, considerate, compassionate manner and most of all patient.
Understanding challenging behaviour, safeguarding
Willing to have a DBS check or have DBS on the update service
Be empathetic and passionate about working with SEND children or young adults
have obtained a Qualified Teachers Status (QTS)
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
Teach KS1, and KS2 of the school curriculum
Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment
Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for every child’s abilities.
Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
Maintain discipline and manage challenging behaviour.
Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of every child’s development.
Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
Excellent up to date knowledge of the curriculum.
Liaise with colleagues and work flexibly, particularly within smaller schools.
