Learning Support Worker – SEN School – Worcester

We are looking for an energetic and driven individual who is looking to make a difference in a SEN School. An amazing opportunity is available for you ASAP where you will be working closely with students with SEN/ behavioural issues and the senior leadership team.

Your new role:
The School is looking for a proactive candidate who is able to work as a team and take direction to join their school as a Learning Support Worker on a full-time basis for an ongoing role. You will be required to support small groups of students aged 13-17 during their lessons and around the school. All the students you will be supporting will have behavioural needs therefore, the ideal Learning Support Worker for this role must be engaging and have excellent behaviour management skills.

The successful candidate will have:
** A passion for education and ideally have a background working with children or young adults
** Experience of working with children and/or young adults in a School setting or similar
** Experience of working with SEN and/or challenging behaviour
** Have an enhanced up to date DBS (or willingness to process a new one)
