Maths Teacher – Central Birmingham – January Start
Twenty 4 Seven Education have an exciting opportunity for a passionate, motivated and qualified Maths Teacher to work within a Secondary School in Birmingham. This full time role is to start January until July in the first instance, there is a strong possibility this will become a temp to perm contract.

Your new role:
You will need to plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils, encourage a love of lifelong learning by eliciting in students a sense of awe and wonder. Develop student reasoning and promote depth of understanding. You will need to use both formative and summative assessment to ensure that each child makes maximum progress.
The ideal candidate:
*Hold a UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS/QLTS) with Maths as a discipline
*Have good subject knowledge and experience of teaching across KS3 and KS4 in a UK school setting
*Be able to plan, deliver and mark engaging lessons
*Excellent communication skills
*Strong classroom and behaviour management
*A valid enhanced DBS check on the update service (or be willing to process one with us)
