Science Teacher – Rugby – ASAP 

Twenty 4 Seven Education have an exciting opportunity for a vibrant, flexible and qualified Science Teacher to teach at a Secondary School in Rugby. This full time role is to start ASAP until July, in the first instance.

The curriculum is designed to ensure all students develop the skills and understanding needed to be successful at school and in their future careers. They have a wide range of subjects on offer in which teachers work to ensure that students are engaged in their learning and challenged to succeed to their full potential.

The Science Department intends for pupils to develop knowledge and understanding of key Biology, Chemistry and Physics topics. They will apply this knowledge and explain key ideas within Science, applying them to a range of typical and frequent assessment points. Pupils will also develop basic practical skills and data analysis.

Your new role:
You will need to plan and deliver dynamic Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils, teaching Biology, Chemistry, Physics and ensure pupils develop their working scientifically skills. They will need to ask scientific questions, plan investigations and record data and then they will need to go and analyse and evaluate their data.  You will need to monitor and assess students to ensure they make maximum progress.

The ideal candidate:
* Hold a UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS/QLTS) with Science as a discipline
* Have good subject knowledge and experience of teaching across KS3 and KS4 in a UK school setting
* Be able to plan and deliver engaging lessons
* Monitor and assess pupils effectively to ensure pupil progress
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong classroom and behaviour management
*A valid enhanced DBS check on the update service (or be willing to process one with us)
