Contract: Full time, Permanent (39 weeks of the year)

Salary: From £19,312 (pro rata)

Twenty 4 Seven Education are thrilled to be working with a “Good” Ofsted rated SEN School in Hartpury near Gloucester. They are seeking a nurturing and resilient Teaching Assistant to support female pupils who have been identified with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH) and/or complex needs. This unique full time opportunity is to start September on a permanent contract. Training opportunities will be provided at this school.

The School:
This is a very small school with less than fifty students between the ages of 8 and 18, the majority of students have SEMH needs. Students benefit from a high staff to student ratio, with around six students and five adults per class. A full academic curriculum is offered to students here as well as creative opportunities and an emphasis on physical education.

The role:
You will be working with a small group of female students, supporting them with their daily school life as well as helping them to access their curriculum and help them to reach their potential.

The candidate:

– Knowledge of SEMH and/or complex needs is key
– A Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but it is not necessary
