Have you considered being a teacher, but first you want to gain valuable hands on experience in a variety of secondary SEN classrooms?

We have a number of schools in who are seeking a Cover Supervisor to join them ASAP.

You you will need to have a degree and some experience in a classroom in environment.

Cover Supervisor candidates will have excellent interpersonal skills, a firm and confident manner and be committed to delivering quality teaching and learning.

The position consists of delivering a variable timetable of already planned lessons and prepared teaching tasks across classes in different year groups and abilities. Any successful candidate will need to be both adaptable and confident.

As A Cover Supervisor, You Will Have:

A positive can do attitude to respond to busy schools.
Be a graduate at degree level
Calls for work can be from 7:00am in the morning!
Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
Maintain discipline and manage challenging behaviour.
Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development
Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools.
Be aware there may be some elements of personal care
Can work flexible between Monday to Friday. Usual working hours are between 8.30am-3.30pm
Hold a current Enhanced Child and Update DBS that is registered with the Update Service or to be prepared to apply for a new DBS with ourselves (cost applied).
