Teaching Assistant – Rugby – September

A vibrant Secondary School in Rugby are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join their School to support across the key stages. They are looking for a passionate, dedicated and motivated individual who is committed to ensuring that all students make progress. This is a full time role to start September for an ongoing role however, this has the potential to become a permanent contract for the right candidate.

Your new role:
You will support the School, Senior Leadership team and SENCO by assisting teaching staff in the development and education process of students. In addition, assist teaching staff with students’ care, support and supervision. The role will involve supporting teachers in providing targeted support, including one to one and small group intervention.

The ideal candidate:
** Experience of working with children and/or young people in the last 5 years
** Hold a recognised Teaching Assistant qualification eg. CACHE Level 2/3 Certificate in Support Teaching and Learning or equivalent
** Confident to work across the Secondary age range, demonstrating high expectations of pupil’s achievement
** Good communication and organisation skills
** Possess good behaviour management skills
** Right to work in the UK
** Enhanced DBS on the Update Service. Candidates without an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service will have to apply for a new one
