Teaching Assistants – Coventry

Teaching Assistants needed!

Location: Coventry and surrounding areas

Pay rate: £70-80 per day

At Twenty 4 Seven Education we work with a large number of Primary, Secondary and SEN Schools in Coventry who require Teaching Assistants for daily supply, short/long term roles and permanent contracts starting ASAP.

In addition to this Teaching Assistant role we also recruit Cover Supervisors. If you would like the chance to take the lead in the classroom, deliver pre-set work to the pupils, ensure they stay on task and effectively manage behaviour, we can provide you with these opportunities too. You do not need a qualification to be a Cover Supervisor but child related experience is advantageous.

At Twenty 4 Seven Education we offer a free Cover Supervisor training course to prepare you for the role and ongoing support whilst you are in your placements. This course will cover all aspects of the role and what to expect whilst working in a school environment.

The ideal candidate:
** Dedicated to helping children achieve their attainment levels
** You will encourage students to engage proactively with their learning
** You will be responsible in helping to provide a safe environment for children to learn
** You will consistently promoting positive behaviour a
** Have good presentation and demonstrate good articulation skills
** Ideally you will already have some experience of working with children, or you may be considering furthering your career in education as a teacher. You may either have a teaching assistant qualification or similar, or hold a degree.

**All applications are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, professional reference checks, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) in line with our stringent safeguarding policy
** Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment/education history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained
** You must have legal right to work in the UK
