Location: Kidderminster, Worcestershire
Contract: Full time for 5 weeks
Salary: £60-£80 per day
Start: Monday 13th June

This exciting new full time role is to start on Monday 13th June on a short term basis for 5 weeks. The School is looking to recruit a confident, adaptable and approachable Teaching Assistant to join their passionate and enthusiastic team, to support pupils in Year 4.

The main duties within the role will be:
* Helping the Year 4 Class Teacher to prepare for lessons
* Supporting the Year 4 Class Teacher with teaching and learning
* Providing 1:1/group support to children who have been identified as working below age expected levels or have special educational needs to meet expectations
* Providing 1:1/group support to children who have been identified as exceeding age expected levels to challenge them
* Being a positive member of the school staff and promoting their values

The ideal candidate:
** Be enthusiastic, nurturing and dedicated
** Be passionate about helping young children to reach their goals
** Have the ability to form positive professional relationships with young children and staff
** Have high expectations for the behaviour and academic progress of young children
** Experience of working in a School and in particular supporting pupils in Key Stage 2
** Good knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment
** A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification would be advantageous but not essential
** Right to work in the UK
** Enhanced DBS registered to the update service or willingness to obtain a new certificate
** Safeguarding training within the last 12 months (if you haven’t we provide a free course once you’ve undergone our relevant compliance checks)
