1:1 Teaching Assistant

Twenty4Seven Education is ecstatic to be working alongside this charming and inviting primary school located in a residential area in Cardiff. They are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Teaching Assistant to work alongside their team of dedicated staff supporting a pupil in their Reception Class.
The school

The staff work to create a positive and encouraging environment that allows the students to explore and develop using their creative and engaging learning activities. They are looking for a compassionate and cheerful one-to-one Teaching Assistant to work with one of the children in their reception class supporting them in their everyday school life.
The role
The successful candidate will begin working in September and will continue till the end of the academic year. They will work full time on weekdays during term time and will work from 8:30 to 15:30. They will work in the reception class supporting one pupil throughout the day as well as taking small groups of pupils and completing learning activities set by the classroom teacher.
As a One-to-One Teaching assistant you will:
Support the pupil on a one-to-one basis throughout the school day
Assist the pupil in accessing the curriculum
Assist the pupil in developing academically, socially and personally
Work alongside the pupil and teacher to create effective methods for their learning and engagement
Support the classroom teacher
Keep a record of any achievements and successes of the pupil
The successful candidate:
Will be kind, passionate and approachable
Will have experience working in a one-to-one basis
Will have a good command of the English language
Will have experience working in an educational setting
Teaching Assistant qualifications are desirable but not essential
