1:1 Teaching Assistant (Morning role)

**Location: Cardiff
**Morning Role 9am-1pm
**5 Days a week

Twenty4Seven Education is thrilled to be working alongside this Inviting and modern primary school located in a residential area in Cardiff. They are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work one-to-one with a year 3 student in the mornings supporting them in their day-to-day life.

The school

They are looking for a Teaching Assistant who will work within this amazing team of staff working to support a pupil in the Year 3 class helping them access the curriculum and develop socially and personally.

The role

The successful candidate will begin working in September until the end of the academic year, working weekdays during term time from 9:00 to 13:00. They will work in the year 3 class supporting one student in their day-to-day school life as well as supporting the classroom teacher.

As a one-to-one TA you will:

Work one-to-one with a pupil in the year 3 class
Assist the pupil in accessing the curriculum
Assist the pupil in making progress not only academically but also socially and personally
Get to know the pupil and learn how to support them further in the best way possible
Provide feedback to pupils to assist their development under the guidance of the teacher
Discuss and put into action strategies to support the pupil with the teacher


The successful candidate:

Will be compassionate, enthusiastic, and caring
Will have experience working in similar roles with individuals on a one-to-one basis
Will have experience working within an educational setting
Will have a good command of the English language
Will be able to implement and adapt learning activities
Teaching Assistant qualifications are desirable but not essential
