Twenty4Seven Education is delighted to be working alongside this amazing primary school located in a residential area in the north of Cardiff. They are looking for an experienced teaching assistant who will show dedication and passion for learning and will support a pupil in year 3 with Additional learning needs on a one-to-one basis.

They are looking for a teaching assistant who will show a passion for learning and dedication to the development of each pupil individually.
The Role
The successful candidate will begin working in September and will continue to the end of the academic year, with the possibility of this becoming permanent. They will work term time on weekdays from 8:30 to 15:30 working one-to-one with a pupil with additional learning needs and supporting them with their daily school life.
As a one-to-one Teaching Assistant you will:
Work on a one-to-one basis with a pupil with Additional learning needs
Assist pupils in accessing the curriculum
Assist pupils in making progress academically, socially, and personally
Get to know the pupil and learn how to support them further in the best way possible
Work in small groups of pupils completing set learning activities
Support the classroom teacher and work with small groups of pupils
Assist in planning, preparing, and delivering learning activities
The successful candidate:
Will be enthusiastic, approachable, and passionate
Will have experience working within an educational setting
Will have a good command of the English language
Will be able to implement and adapt learning activities
Teaching assistant qualifications are also desirable but not essential
