1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant (ADHD) 

**Location: Caerphilly

**Fulltime 

**ASAP Start

**3 Months of relevant experience required 

Twenty4Seven Education is delighted to be working alongside this incredible primary school located in Caerphilly. They are looking for a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to work on a one-to-one basis with a year 3 pupil with ADHD supporting them through their everyday school life and helping them to access the curriculum.

The School 

The school is run by a dedicated team of staff who work hard to provide a caring fun and stimulating environment. The school created a space for the children to explore thrive and enjoy learning where they are able to access the curriculum in a multitude of ways. The school works with its pupils to create enthusiastic learning and supportive peers. They are looking for a Teaching Assistant who will bring this passion for learning and will work on a one-to-one basis with a pupil with ADHD supporting them throughout the school day.

The Role 

The successful candidate will begin working as soon as possible working during term time from 8:30-15:30 Monday to Friday. They will be working in the Year 3 class on a one-to-one basis supporting a pupil with ADHD with their daily school life and helping them to access the curriculum.

The key responsibilities will include:

Assisting the pupil with accessing the curriculum
Assisting the pupil with developing academically, socially, and personally
Support the classroom teacher in learning activities and classroom management
Assist in preparing and completing learning activities
Support the pupil on a one-to-one basis and discuss with both the student and teacher ways to further support the pupils.

 

The successful candidate:

Will be kind, dedicated, and passionate
Will have a minimum of 3 months of experience working within an educational setting
Will have experience working with children with SEN
Will have a good command of the English language
Teaching Assistant qualifications are also desirable but not required.
