1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

**September start, until the end of the academic year
Twenty4Seven Education is Delighted to be working alongside this lovely and friendly primary school located in a residential area in Bridgend. They are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic teaching assistant to work one-to-one with a pupil with Special educational needs supporting them throughout their day-to-day school life.

They are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic teaching assistant to work one-to-one alongside a pupil with special educational needs supporting them throughout their school life and through their academic journey.
The role
The successful candidate will begin working for a fixed term starting in September and continuing through to the end of the academic year, with the possibility of this becoming permanent. They will be working term-time from 8:30 to 15:30 on weekdays.
As a one-to-one SEN TA you will:
Work one-to-one with a pupil with special educational needs
Assist the pupil in accessing the curriculum
Assist the pupil in making progress academically, socially, and personally
Get to know the pupil and learn how to support them further
Work with the pupil and teacher to plan and put into action systems to help the pupil
The successful candidate:
Will be patient, enthusiastic, and approachable
Will have experience working within an educational setting
Will have an understanding of how to support children with SEN
Will have a good command of the English language
