Twenty4Seven Education is looking for a passionate and energetic Drama teacher to work within this vibrant and inviting Secondary school. They are looking for someone who is passionate about the subject and will bring this passion to the learning environment through a variety of learning activities and a variety of lesson plans.

The school

The school is run by a dedicated team of staff who work to provide an exciting and enjoyable learning experience. They are dedicated to providing their students with the skills they need to navigate the ever-changing world. Having worked with the pupils and the larger community to create an innovative curriculum they offer a range of learning opportunities for their students that help develop their confidence and individuality. They are looking for an enthusiastic Drama teacher who will continue this work and help the students explore through creative and stimulating activities.

The role

The successful candidate will work closely with the staff to provide a series of Drama Lessons following the curriculum set. They will begin in September and will work weekdays during the term time from 8:30 to 15:30. The successful candidate will provide lessons for a range of abilities and will adapt the lesson plans to better suit and support the needs of the students.

The ideal candidate:

Hold a UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS/QLTS)
This role is also suitable for ECTs looking for a supportive school to complete their induction year
Able to teach National Curriculum Drama
Be adaptable, organised, dynamic, and hardworking
Understand the requirements for high-quality teaching and have a desire to positively impact students learning and achieve highly
Strong classroom and behavior management
Be able to use ICT in all aspects of your work and embrace new technologies and ideas that enhance learning
Have excellent administration skills and an ability to meet deadlines
Have good interpersonal and communications skills
Be a positive team player with a strong commitment to professional development
