Learning support Assistant- Newport

Twenty4Seven Education is recruiting 3x Learning Support Assistants for one of our partner secondary schools in Newport for September 2023. The candidate would be required to support the ALN department with children from 11-18. There will be prospects to increase teaching strengths with supportive teaching departments where there will be regular training courses and the potential to earn school-based contracts.

The school is conducting interviews with candidates until 8th July, therefore candidates are encouraged to apply ASAP.

Graduates are welcome or candidates with experience in health and social care, youth work or sports coaching background. This could also be a platform for those who want to pursue a professional Teaching career as it would enhance prospects. This role would be ideal for those with experience in education, or working with young people.

It is desirable to have a knowledge of a school environment and some experience of working with children. It is also essential to have suitable references to proceed to the next stage and have an enhanced DBS or be ready to apply for one.

• Pay will be a minimum of £75 per day.

• Payments are made on a PAYE basis.
