Twenty4Seven Education is delighted to be working alongside this inviting and joyful Primary School located in Rhondda Cynon Taf. They are looking for a passionate and caring Teaching Assistant to work in their classroom providing general classroom support and working in small groups to complete set learning activities.
The school
The school is dedicated to providing a stimulating and interesting curriculum that helps develop the pupil’s confidence and allows them to explore the world through creative methods. The school aims to prepare their pupils for each new stage of education and help them become positive and enthusiastic learners. The school works to celebrate each child’s successes and build their individual skills and characters. The school is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant who will work to create a friendly and joyful presence in the classroom and will support the children in the best way possible.
The Role
The successful candidate will begin working in September full-time with the possibility of this becoming permanent. They will be working Monday to Friday during term times from 8:30 to 15:30.
As a Teaching Assistant you will:
Support the classroom teacher in preparing and teaching educational activities
Work in small groups leading activities set by the teacher
Get to know the pupils in the class and learn how to support them academically, socially, and personally
Discuss and put into action strategies to support the pupils with the teacher
Assist the pupils in accessing the curriculum
The successful candidate:
Will be caring, passionate, and hard-working
Will have an understanding of how to support pupils
Will have a good command of the English language
Will be able to implement and adapt learning activities discussed with the teacher
Experience working in a similar role is desirable but not essential. Additional qualifications are also desirable but not essential
