Primary School Teaching Assistant

**Location: Caerphilly 

**Full time

**ASAP Start

**Minimum of 3 months relevant experience 

 

Twenty4Seven Education is thrilled to be working alongside this amazing and friendly Primary school located in a residential area in Caerphilly. They are looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working teaching assistant to work within their class as a general teaching assistant supporting the teacher and working with the children to complete learning activities.

The school is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant who will work to create a friendly and joyful presence in the classroom and will support the children in the best way possible.

The Role

The successful candidate will begin working in as soon as possible full-time with the possibility of this becoming permanent. They will be working Monday to Friday during term times from 8:30 to 15:30. They will be working supporting the classroom teacher and making a fun and safe learning environment for all pupils

As a Teaching Assistant you will:

Support the classroom teacher in preparing and teaching educational activities
Work in small groups leading activities set by the teacher
Get to know the pupils in the class and learn how to support them academically, socially, and personally
Discuss and put into action strategies to support the pupils with the teacher
Assist the pupils in accessing the curriculum

The successful candidate: 

Will be caring, passionate, and hard-working
Will have an understanding of how to support pupils
Will have a good command of the English language
Will be able to implement and adapt learning activities discussed with the teacher
Experience working in a similar role is desirable but not essential. Additional qualifications are also desirable but not essential
