Twenty4Seven Education is excited to be working alongside this Modern and inviting primary school located in a residential area in Bridgend. They are looking for a qualified and passionate Teaching Assistant with a level 3 in childcare to support the classroom teacher and help the pupils develop and grow.

The school

Working alongside the parents and pupils to create an engaging and enriching curriculum that they can all take pride in. Following this curriculum, the staff creates fun and stimulating learning activities that help to encourage the development of their pupils academically, socially, and personally. They are looking for a passionate Teaching Assistant who will work within their school showing their passion for learning and encouraging the pupils to engage and explore their learning environment.

The role
The successful candidate will begin work in September and continue through to the end of the academic year, with the possibility of this becoming permanent.They will be working term-time from 8:30 to 15:30.

As a Teaching Assistant you will:
Assist the pupils in accessing the curriculum
Assist the pupils in making progress academically, socially, and personally
Get to know the pupils and learn how to support them further in the best way possible
Ensure the pupil’s safety and supervise and assist with learning activities
Support the classroom teacher and work with small groups of pupils

The successful candidate:
Will be enthusiastic, approachable, and passionate
Will have experience working within an educational setting
Will have a good command of the English Language
Will have a Level 3 Childcare qualification
Will be able to implement and adapt learning activities
Experience working in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
