Twenty4Seven Education is delighted to work alongside this inviting and modern primary school located in a residential area north of Cardiff. They are looking for a hard-working and passionate teaching assistant to work supporting the classroom teacher and work with the pupils to support them throughout their academic journey.

They are looking for a passionate and dedicated teaching assistant to work alongside their dedicated team of staff creating a stimulating and enjoyable learning environment.

The role

The successful candidate will begin working as soon as possible and will continue until the end of the academic year. This is a term-time role from 8:30 to 15:30 on weekdays excluding school holidays. They will be working alongside the classroom teacher providing the best possible education for all pupils.

As a Teaching Assistant you will

  • Work within the classroom supporting the classroom teacher
  • Work to support each pupil to the best of their ability
  • Assist pupils in accessing the curriculum
  • Assist pupils in day-to-day school life
  • Get to know the pupils and work alongside the teacher to support the pupil in the most effective way
  • Complete learning activities with small groups of pupils

The successful candidate

  • Will be kind, passionate, and dedicated
  • Will have an understanding of how to support children with their academic and personal development
  • Will have a minimum of 3 months of experience working within an educational setting or working with young people.
  • Will have a good command of the English language.
  • Teaching Assistant qualifications are also desirable but not essential
