Twenty4Seven Education is thrilled to be working with this welcoming and joyful primary school located in a residential area in Caerphilly. They are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to work within the classroom supporting the classroom teacher

The Role

The successful candidate will benign working as soon as possible and will be working weekdays during term time from 8:30-15:30. They will work within the school assisting the classroom teacher supervising and supporting the pupils as well as working with small groups of pupils completing set learning activities.

As a Teaching Assistant you will:

• Support the classroom teacher in preparing and teaching educational activities
• Work in small groups leading activities set by the teacher
• Get to know the pupils in the class and learn how to support them academically, socially, and personally
• Discuss and put into action strategies to support the pupils with the teacher
• Plan, Prepare and deliver learning activities alongside the classroom teacher

The successful candidate:

• Will be caring, passionate, and hard-working
• Will have an understanding of how to support pupils
• Will have a good command of the English language
• Will be able to implement and adapt learning activities discussed with the teacher
• Will have a minimum of 3 months of relevant experience
• Additional qualifications are also desirable but not essential
