Twenty4Seven Education is excited to be working alongside this incredible Primary school located in a residential area in Bridgend. They are looking for a passionate and experienced Teaching Assistant to work within their year 2 class supporting the classroom teacher and leading small groups of pupils in set learning activities.

They are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant who will become a supportive and positive presence in the classroom and will support each pupil to reach their full potential.
The role
The successful candidate will begin working in September and will continue till the end of the academic year. They will work full time on weekdays during term time and will work from 8:30 to 15:30. They will work in the Year 2 class supporting the classroom teacher as well as working with small groups of pupils completing learning activities set by the teacher.
As a One-to-One Teaching assistant you will:
Assist the pupils in accessing the curriculum
Assist the pupils in developing academically, socially, and personally
Work alongside the pupil and teacher to create effective methods for their learning and engagement
Support the classroom teacher
Keep a record of any achievements and successes of pupils
The successful candidate:
Will be kind, passionate, and approachable
Will be passionate about education and learning
Will have a desire to help and support pupils
Will have a good command of the English language
Will have experience working in an educational setting
Teaching Assistant qualifications are desirable but not essential
