Twenty 4 Seven Education is delighted to be working with this welcoming and established Welsh-medium primary school located in a residential area near Bridgend. They are looking for a passionate Teaching Assistant who will dedicate themselves to the pupils.

The role
The successful candidate will benign work as soon as possible working weekdays during term time from 8:30-15:30. They will work within the school assisting the classroom teacher supervising and supporting the pupils.

As a Teaching Assistant you will:
Support the classroom teacher in preparing and teaching educational activities
Work in small groups leading activities set by the teacher
Get to know the pupils in the class and learn how to support them academically, socially, and personally
Discuss and put into action strategies to support the pupils with the teacher
Assist the pupils in accessing the curriculum

The successful candidate:
Will be caring, passionate, and hard-working
Will have an understanding of how to support pupils
Will have a good command of the Welsh language
Will be able to implement and adapt learning activities discussed with the teacher
Experience working in a similar role is desirable but not essential. Additional qualifications are also desirable but not essential
