Behaviour Specialist – SEMH – Worcester – ASAP

Are you an experienced Behaviour Specialist looking for a new challenge?

I am currently recruiting for a school based in Worcester that are looking to appoint a Behaviour Specialist with MAPPA, Team Teach, behaviour, ADHD, EBD, SEMH experience to join their team. The positions is on a long term contract basis for the right person. They are seeking people who have experience of working with SEN children in an SEMH, behaviour setting. This position would be good for someone who has worked within a residential setting, young offenders or previous youth worker experience.

As a Behaviour Specialist you will be working alongside the class teacher and other support staff supporting pupils with everyday school life, however, there will be times that you will need to be supporting children on a one to one and small groups bases independently. You will be a source of support for pupils and will ensure they are motivated, happy and engaged.

The school caters for children with a wide range of needs including ASD, EBD, ADHD and SEMH. The school caters for pupils aged 9-18.

The successful candidate will bring SEN/behaviour experience to the role and a desire to work with children with SEMH. You will be empathetic and determined to make a difference.
