Role Overview: We are seeking a qualified and passionate Design and Technology (D&T) teacher to join a dedicated faculty. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching D&T at the secondary level, inspiring students to explore, design, and create in various disciplines of technology and design.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the D&T curriculum
Nurture students’ creativity and problem-solving skills through practical projects
Provide guidance and support to students, encouraging their interest and participation in D&T
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning
Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and initiatives
Contribute to extracurricular activities related to D&T
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification
Experience teaching Design and Technology at the secondary level
Strong subject knowledge across various D&T disciplines
Ability to motivate and engage students of different abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment
