Graduate Teaching Assistant – Pontypridd, RCT – ASAP Start

A Primary School in Pontypridd are looking for a graduate to support primary school pupils based in KS2 as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the remainder of the academic year.

This is a prime opportunity to gain classroom experience before committing to teacher training.

Main duties:

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to support high quality lessons and small group work to KS1 and KS2 pupils.
Be able to plan a range of exciting and engaging lessons
You will use your creativity and initiative to create an engaging learning environment
You will receive comprehensive support from other teachers and support staff within the school.
1:1 support within the classroom and small group work
Essential skills

A positive and enthusiastic attitude
Good organisational skills
Strong communication skills
Be willing to take direction and responsibility
