Twenty 4 Seven Education have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, thought provoking, reliable and qualified History Teacher to work within a secondary school in Coventry. This role is to start in January 2023 as a full time role.

The Role:

You will need to plan and deliver engaging History  lessons across the key stages. You will also need to monitor and assess students to ensure pupil progress. The intention of the History curriculum at a school is for students to gain a deeper understanding of how the past as shaped todays society. The school wants students to develop a greater understanding about how the study of History impacts the wider world, using research and data analysis. The study of history helps students gain vital knowledge about the foundations of society and our world.

The ideal candidate:
* Hold a UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS/QLTS)
* This role is also suitable for ECTs looking for a supportive School to complete their induction year
* Have good History subject knowledge and experience of teaching across the key stages
* Be able to plan and deliver thought provoking lessons
* Monitor and assess pupils effectively to ensure pupil progress
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong classroom and behaviour management
