Humanities Teacher – Coventry – September 2023

Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in History, Geography, and Social Sciences to students in accordance with the school’s curriculum.
Develop and implement creative teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning and student engagement.
Use a variety of teaching resources, including technology and hands-on activities, to enhance the learning experience.
Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their academic growth.
Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate interdisciplinary projects and initiatives.
Participate in extracurricular activities, such as field trips, clubs, and school events, to enrich the students’ learning experience.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (History, Geography, Social Sciences, or similar).
Strong subject knowledge in History and/or Geography, with the ability to teach Social Sciences.
A genuine passion for teaching and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Effective classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum and current educational trends.
Experience in delivering outstanding lessons and achieving positive learning outcomes.
