Full time, term time only plus 5 CPD days, Mon – Thurs 8.30am- 4.30pm & Friday 8.30am – 4pm
Salary Kent Range 7 (FTE £23378 – 26466) Pro-rata £20108 – £22764 plus SEN Allowance of £1323
We are seeking to appoint an IT Manager to support the use of ICT within a school, including maintenance of equipment and software, providing support to staff and pupils to ensure administration, and learning outcomes are met. The role is full time and permanent, due to commence September 2022. This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic person to join a committed and friendly staff team.
The IT Manager will oversee the efficient and effective operation and planning of the ICT infrastructure across the school and provide hands-on ICT support to staff and pupils. You will be responsible for all ICT hardware and software, servers, storage management, security, disaster recovery/business continuity, as well as utilising project management skills to allow for strategic planning in the best use of ICT to meet current and future initiatives and developments.
The ideal candidate will have experience of:
· Working in a school or similar establishment
· Successfully managing ICT network/s, hardware, and software functions to support the day-to-day operation of an establishment/company
· Managing change and implementing new systems/procedures/controls
· Training staff in ICT
It is essential that you have a GCSE or equivalent in English and Mathematics in Grade A*-C.
