Role Overview: As a KS1 Class Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of our young learners, aged 5 to 7. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and stimulating lessons, creating a positive classroom atmosphere, and promoting a love for learning. You will plan and implement a well-rounded curriculum, tailored to the individual needs of each student, while maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that adhere to the national curriculum, ensuring they are stimulating, engaging, and differentiated to meet the needs of all students.
Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation, respect, and collaboration among students.
Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Maintain accurate records of students’ progress, achievements, and behavior.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events to contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching practices and school initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
Experience teaching KS1 students, preferably in a primary school setting.
Sound knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies for young learners.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
A genuine passion for education and a commitment to the holistic development of children.
Ability to create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
