We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and caring Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work in a school located in Warwickshire. You will be working with special needs pupils between the ages of 8 and 19, the majority of whom will be in the secondary provision.

The school prides itself in offering an extensive range of academic, practical, vocational, sport and leisure activities, to support both a young person’s educational achievements and social and communication skills. In addition, they have new specialist facilities and resources to support pupils in their learning.

Our ideal Teaching Assistant will:

Hold a Level 2 qualification
Support and care for children with complex and challenging needs with enthusiasm and compassion
Have recent child related experience
Have experience of working with special needs children
Have strong behaviour management skills
Be reliable, resilient and versatile
Have excellent communication skills
Be eligible to work in the UK
Have an enhanced DBS certificate that is registered on the Update Service or willingness to obtain a new DBS
